Darya Rod is an Iranian-American mixed media artist and illustrator based in Los Angeles, California. Through different mediums, she works to encapsulate the human experience and the emotions that lie beyond the subconscious. Her work is heavily inspired by the female form, along with the influences of nature and poetry, and of course, cats. She hopes that each person can connect with her pieces beyond boundaries, intimately, and in a space filled with creation, love, understanding, and empathy.

With a background in Children’s Art Education, she is passionate about making art education accessible to all and creating a space where children feel free to express themselves and develop their creativity.
